    The definition of bullying is a reapetative act of harm to somebody else. You may be aimed at the feelings and emotions or physically. A bullies aim is to put you down and isolate you so you dont tell the teacher or a freind. Bullies will gradually get worse if you do nothing about them.

    How to deal with a bully?

    If you are being bullied the best thing to do is to tell a teacher freind or parent. Making sure that however you tell they will take action and not just ignore you. The numberv one thing is to stay calm and not to retaliate otherwise you will get in trouble too. The bully will try and isolate you and so you may feel as though there is nothing you can do or nobody to tell,this what they want you to feel so go tell someone, that way you have beaten the bully. Did you know only 36% of people being bullied have told someone about it. That Means 64% of kids being bullied keep getting bullied until they have finished highschool or move to another school. Waiting for either of these things to happen means that if you go to a new school you will have to make new freinds and chances are you will meet a bully along the way. If you wait till you have finished school to get rid of the bully you will be left with lasting memories of school. A survey has shown that more than half of the people being bullied at school and let them go think badly about school and have trouble and university.

    Why are people bullies?

    A bully usually attacks someone who is emotionally or physically weak becaiuse they will feel as though they cannot tell anyone or fight back. A bully will usually pick somone going through trouble at the time and is finding it hard. They will also most likely attack a phsyically weak kid if they are physically bullying and sometimes verbal because they know if they retaliate the victim will be able to be overpowered. A bully usually becomes a bully if they have been bullyed or if they are going through tough stages in there life. This is because they think it makes them look stronger and they want to make the victim feel what they feel.

    Myths about Bullying

    The most well known myth about bullying is ignore them and they will go away. Although this may work on some bullies it also may provoke the bully into becoming worse to get a reaction so you should always just tell a teacher. Another myth is that victims need to learn to stand up to them selves. This is true to an extent., the victim needs to be able to tell a freind or teacher and then the freind or teacher can work with them to stop the bully.
